Due to the wonderful response last year to our Christmas appeal for children and their parents living in supported accommodation in Glebe we would again like to support Elsie Women’s Refuge, Rainbow Lodge, Detour House and Kathleen York House with the addition of people in the Youth Programs run by Glebe Police.

Extraordinary support from our members has ensured that our project is unequivocally viable. With the project launch, we received a massive amount of good quality recycled goods as well as cash donations but, equally important, there has been a steady stream of recycled goods since then.

Centipede’s Sunset Soirée Raises Much-needed Funds

The highlight of the evening was a presentation by Snr Constable Renee Fortuna from Glebe Police, who described the program and progress of their youth initiatives at work in Glebe, that aim to encourage otherwise alienated youth to continue their education and aspire to bright futures.
