And the answer is…

Angela Hallinan and Wayne Carveth identified the site as the kennels at the Wentworth Park dog track. Wayne added: ‘With some luck this building will be removed in a few years along with the huge grandstand, when the main greyhound racing track is relocated to a regional town.’

Since 1949, when 18,600 people turned up for the opening of the remodelled Wentworth Park track, attendance has declined dramatically. The grandstand was erected in 1987 at an estimated cost of $18 million.
