The First Glebe Street Fair
The first Fair that involved the closure of Glebe Point Rd took place on Saturday, September 22 in 1984. The participants were almost entirely from the Glebe community, including many businesses. There was music, dancing and activities for children.

Valhalla – Paradise on Glebe Point Road
The cinema closed in 2005 and the building was sold to a property developer in 2006.
166D Glebe Point Road still stands, and, although the interior has been converted into offices, the bold, black-and-white sign above the entrance reads: ‘VALHALLA.’
