The Eglinton Road precinct provided a possibly unique situation where all but one of the houses in the street were built by one builder over a period of time. The builder Robert Buick Edward acquired land from the local Allen family and developed the houses in three stages, funding later developments from the sale of the houses. All houses were built to the same basic design.
There is an entry for each house identified by address under which all currently known and released information is recorded. Max Solling provided support to the project and contributed the section on Parks. Genny Kang undertook the research and wrote up the findings. Jeannette Knox met with previous residents to provide oral history. Erica Robinson has documented the architecture of the terraces. Carole Herriman has edited the text.
