I whole-heartedly agree with Mr Keller. Much damage has been done to this small community since the protests over the pathway have started. The design for the path is to allow all of us, no matter what age or ability, to enjoy what will be a wonderful park. I fail to see what the drama is all about. Many native species of flora will be planted and a magnificent parkland will result, but none of this can happen while work is being delayed. Please let the healing being and the work continue.
Please do not categorize this protest as a united residents action. Many local residents do not support this action. Do not want a locked up nature reserve and recognize that a path has been planned for many years.
Bringing in a Glebe Society rentacrowd to man these protests is I strongly feel dividing this small community in a way that it will take many years to recover from.
