Murphy, Edwin… (He was a granduncle to myself).. Killed & Buried in Perone France.
The following is from SMH.
MURPHY. – In loving memory of our dear brother, Pte.
Edwin Murphy, 56th Batt, died of wounds, September
2, 1918.
We cannot clasp your hand, dear brother,
Your face we cannot see;
But let this little token tell,
We still remember thee.
Inserted by his loving sister, and brother, Eva, and
Claude.
This has very good historical value. I am looking for a family named Young. They were Charles E.L. Young and Jessie nee Mylne. Two children were born in Glebe Agnes born 1892 and Charles born 1893 he died in Burwood. Their other children were born in Burwood.Can you help me. The Father of Charles was Lindsay Buckle Young he went to Port Curtis with my distant cousin Sir Maurice O’Connell. It is an interesting story.
Sincerely Gloria
