Who lived in your street? William Redman and his family
Posted on 29th March 2026William Redman lived in and had substantial holdings in today’s Forest Lodge. He and his wife, Cecilia, had many connections to Glebe and Forest Lodge. He was a solicitor who, by the time he died in 1882, had amassed a large property portfolio. Fights over his will continued for decades after his death.
