Hello, I am researching my family tree, & this message relates to my great grandparents & their children who lived at 9 Queen Street Glebe from 1900 to 1936. My great grandparents were George DELL (1840-1921) & his wife Elizabeth RIBBONS (1850-1933). The youngest child, Iva Hildred DELL (1893-1988) was the last of the family to reside at that address. Am happy for you to record that information. My question is has the numbering of the street changed since the time of their residence. I notice that the current home at 9 Queen Street, as shown in Google Maps, is still standing.

In 1898 and 1903 William Henry Burgess and his wife Catherine Ann ( nee ? ) were living in Glebe and registering the births of children, William J and Thomas A. Is this my elusive many-great uncle, born New Zealand 1862, and his wife? If someone else can claim them I can rule them out. I have been hunting for them intermittently for twenty years, since the Internet began to make things possible. Please comment to migseder@gmail.com
