Big turnout at Rally against closure of Glebe Post Office
Posted on 24th January 2011An impressive rally was held at the Glebe Post Office on 20th January, when more than 500 people attended to express their outrage at Australia Post’s decision to close all counter services at Glebe Post Office from 4th February.

The Glebe Society is fighting hard against this, along with our Federal, State and local politicians. Posted on 12th January 2011The Federal Minister for Communications has asked Australia Post to reconsider its plan to close Glebe Post Office. However the Glebe Society asks members to continue to make their views known to Australia Post and political leaders.
Closure of Glebe Post Office – we protest
Posted on 2nd January 2011Australia Post has announced that it will close all counter services at Glebe Post Office on Friday 4th February 2011. Mr Jim Berrell, Retail Area Manager at Australia Post, has announced this and notices to this effect are on display in Glebe Post Office.
